The Battle Begins

As many fans are aware right now, the Celtics and Warriors are the two teams that that were fortunate enough to make it to the NBA Finals. Both teams had some pretty good schedules and have played their hearts out to make it this far. So, this is what people should be expecting for this matchup that begins tomorrow at 9:00 p.m. on ABC.  What to Expect Like what I previously said in the introduction, both teams have played exceptionally well. The Warriors finished with a record of 53-29 and the Celtics finished just two games shy with a record of 51-31. With how well each team has played, this series is going to be something of a series. Each team have efficient scorers with the likes of Steph Curry and Jaylen Brown. Both teams also have great defenses with Draymond and Robert Williams. As a result of this, this series is going to come down to either side of the ball.  Difficulties for Each Team There is always a difficulty that comes with a team, whether that be chemistry or h...

We Are Set

Last night in the NBA was a very important game for two teams. The Celtics and the Heat . This series has kept many NBA fans anticipating whether each team was going to make it to the Finals. With the series tied at 3 games apiece each team was determined to put it all out there on the court.  THIS IS IT! With both teams having stellar seasons, it has come down to this to see who carried more heart than skill into this game. As many fans thought, this series has turned out to be one to remember. Jimmy Butler has showed his amazing talent on the court and also his ability to lead his team this far into the playoffs. On the other hand, Jayson Tatum and the Celtics have been a great team all around. Both on the offensive and defensive side, this team was just unlike any other. In last night's  game, Butler was able to score a good chunk of points, topping off at 35. He had just missed a double-double by a single rebound. Adebayo also had a game last night. Being able to score 25...

FINALS

A s of this weekend, many things have gone down in the NBA. The Warriors were able to dominate the Mavericks in their series, almost sweeping them. As for the other side of the bracket, the Heat and the Celtics are tied at 3 games a piece and put in their all to advance to the NBA finals. After all this being said, let us review these games shall we. Mavericks VS. Warriors As many thought, this series was going to be a blowout. The Warriors have so much talent in Steph , Klay, and Draymond it is a hard force to stop. For the Mavs on the other hand, they truly have Luka to put up a lot of their points. Klay has been an absolute monster during the playoffs. In his last games of each series he has been able to score 30 plus points. Klay was able to shoot 50% from beyond the three point line, and also able to shoot 48% from the field. Steph Curry has also been shooting pretty great as well. He has multiple thirty point games and there was even one game that he was able to get 12 rebounds....

Mock Draft

With the NBA season coming to an end here in the upcoming months, many fans are excited for who they will be seeing entering the 2022 draft . With a lot of great talent coming out the NCAA, this draft class should be full of some pretty great players. Let's talk about a few of these future talents. Paolo Banchero Duke had a pretty good season this season in terms of winning, but sadly they were beaten by UNC. Paolo Banchero was a part of Duke's success this season. Standing at a whopping 6'10" and weighing 250lbs this player was hard to beat in the paint. During the 2021-2022 NCAA season, Banchero was able to average 17.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists. These are the kind of numbers many teams are looking for, explaining why many analysts have Banchero going at the number 1 pick overall in the draft. While his numbers do look great, his shooting for these points look great as well. Being able to shoot 47.8% from the field, 33.8% from beyond the arc, and also ...

Conference Finals (So Far)

Since my last post, the NBA Conference Finals have started, and each team are two games in. The Celtics VS. Heat series is pretty even right now, with the Heat only leading by one game, while on the other side, the Warriors are currently up 2 games to none over the Mavericks.  Heat VS. Celtics After coming off a series win over the 76er's , the Heat have been determined to make a march to the NBA finals. Jimmy Butler has been hard to contain, and the Heat defense has been hard to drive by as they can contain the middle very effectively. Unfortunately for the Heat though, Jimmy Butler had to leave game 3 for an injury. So, as of now, Jimmy Butler is questionable for his return to game 4. Bam Adebayo has been putting up some pretty good numbers as well due to the fact Butler is out. For game 3, Bam was the scoring, rebounding and assist leader for his team. A center doing all that kind of work is not heard of a whole lot across the league. On the opposite side of the spectrum, the d...

Conference Finals

This past weekend wrapped up the semifinals and I believe many around the world were surprised to see both the Bucks and Suns both lost in game 7. As a result of these two teams losing, the four teams that have advanced are the Warriors, Mavericks, Celtics, and the Heat.  Warriors VS. Mavericks The Warriors have had a pretty good season this season. They have bounced back since last year from a record of 39-33 and being placed 8th seed in the playoffs eventually losing to the the Lakers in the first round. They finally had the opportunity to have all three of their stars on the floor plus being able to have a rising star in Jordan Poole. This team has always been something different and came out shining with the performance they played last round against the Grizzlies. The Mavericks on the other hand, have a different caliber of talent. Luka has been putting up some great numbers for the Mavs this year in the playoffs. Luka is averaging a solid stat line of 31.5 points a game, 1...
