Nets Downfall

Many people had anticipation for the Nets this season. Many analysts, fans, and just people thought the Nets were title favorites due to having Kyrie Irving , Kevin Durant , and James Harden , three of the biggest names in the NBA due to superstar skills that they have. There were hopes for this team but they had many downfalls that did not allow them to make that push everyone was hoping for.  No Vax At the beginning of the NBA season, the NBA required all players to get vaccines to go on road games to play depending on where the team is. Most players went out and decided to get vaccinated, but Kyrie Irving did not. Kyrie had to suffer not being able to play at his home court but had the opportunity to play at other teams courts. So, half the games that the Nets played this year, Kyrie was not able to attend. This was an immediate disadvantage because Kyrie is pretty good leader and basically runs the offense due to him being a point guard. Coming down to the end of the regular ...

Western Conference Playoff

The Western Conference side of the playoffs is just as much of a power house as the Eastern side is. The Western side contains teams like the Warriors, the Suns, the Nugget, etc. All these team have all stars putting up numbers that are just like no other players. I personally believe that the Western side of the bracket is going to be tougher to beat than the Eastern.  Suns vs. Pelicans  The Suns have been a dominant team throughout the 2021-22 regular season. The had one 63 regular season games which is a franchise record for them. They were only 10 games behind the Warriors for the best record in NBA history. The Pelicans were a whole different story. They barely made it into the playoffs. Having to beat the Clippers to make it in. There season was not horrible but many people think they will not make it past the first round. The Suns have too many threats on there offense like Devin Booker or Chris Paul. Then they have a defense that has been showing off their talent lik...

Eastern Conference Playoffs

As the end of the Play in tournament came to a close the actual playoffs began on April 16, 2022. The best talented teams are going head-to-head in a seven game series to see who advances and who gets cut until next year. Many games have been played since writing this blog and they have been very entertaining to say the least. Of course, the higher seeded teams are showing off their skills and letting everyone know they are no joke. Then there are some lower ranked seeds that are putting on a show as well. Teams such as the Timberwolves are up a game to the #2 seed Grizzlies. It truly does not matter if your the number one seed or the last seed in the conference, as long as you put all your effort and soul into the game you will come out a winner. So without further or do, lets get to reviewing the games so far! (There is going to be two posts to this do all the games there actually is.) Lets start with the Eastern Conference. 76er's vs Raptors  The 76ers and Raptors have been a p...

Play In Begins

Last night was the commencement of the Play in tournament in the NBA . Four teams went at it. The Nets vs. the Cavaliers, and the Timberwolves vs. the Clippers. Two very action packed games with very close endings going neck and neck.  NETS V.S. CAVALIERS Last night's game was all over the place. Just as it seem that the Nets would take a big lead, the Cavs would bring the game back to something worth watching. At the end of the day the Nets took home the win with a pretty close of 115-108. This game was also entertaining due to some of the numbers that some of the star players put up. In the first half alone, Kyrie Irving shot 9-9 from the field and shot 2-2 from beyond the arc. Very rarely do you see someone shoot that well. Then at the conclusion of the game, he still shot 12-15 from the field but, only made one more three throughout the game. Darius Garland also put on a show. He did not shoot as well as what Kyrie did but he scored the same amount of points and shot the same ...

NBA Playoffs Are Set!

This NBA regular season has been a wild ride. With monstrous dunks to some of the the coolest buzzer beaters. I believe that many have enjoyed this season and it is sad to see that the regular season come to an end. The good news is though that the NBA playoffs are now set and are ready to begin. With the play-in tournament starting tomorrow many people are excited to see if their favorite team can enter the playoffs. This play in tournament starts tomorrow and lasts until April 15. Teams in this on the Eastern side include the Hawks (9), Hornets (10), Nets (7), and Cavaliers (8). Then the Western include the Pelicans (9), Spurs (10), Timberwolves (7), and Clippers (8).  For most fans though they are here to see teams that have already made the playoffs. The Eastern teams are the Heat (1), 76er's (4), Raptors (5), Bucks (3), Bulls (6), and the Celtics (2). The Western teams are the Suns (1), Mavericks (4), Jazz (5), Warriors (3), Nuggets (6), and the Grizzlies (2)...

NBA MVP Race

Final Three With the conclusion on the NBA season many players have showed off their excellence on the court. There are many players like Kevin Durant or Lebron James. These players put up numbers that many people consider impossible. Like KD has multiple games this season with 50 plus points, or Lebron becoming the highest scoring player in NBA history. There are many players that are showing off their pure talent and making a name for themselves. But there are three truly great players putting amazing numbers up all across the board. They are Joel (The Process) Embiid from the 76er's , Nikola (The Joker) Jokic from the Nuggets , and Giannis (The Greek Freak) Antetokounmpo from the Bucks '.  Nikola Jokic  As many people know him as the Joker, Nikola Jokic has been putting up crazy numbers this season. He has been averaging a clear 27.0 points a game as a center. Many centers are usually known for the rebound, but Jokic has been busy pointing up a majority of the Denver Nugge...

The Come Back

Last night was the night of the NCAA championship. With the Kansas Jayhawks (1) going against the North Carolina Tar heels (8). Both teams earlier in the week had beaten other highly talented teams like Villanova and Duke . But this game was a very eventful game that kept many fans of both the teams and maybe just regular fans on their toes waiting for what is going to happen next. At the start UNC were mopping the floor with Kansas scoring 40 points in the first half to the 25 that Kansas had scored. UNC had a when on a 16 to 0 run against Kansas at one point in the game. So, many people assumed that UNC was going to run the rest of the game and I am sure that many of the Kansas players may have lost hope to going into the locker room down 15 points.  Coming out in the second half was a different story for the Jayhawks. There must have been something that this team received that allowed all their motivation to return. All the momentum had left UNC and came to the side of Kansa...
